As South Africa scrambles to reduce the spread of Covid-19, universities have had to implement drastic measures to keep the academic year from coming to a complete halt.
With the extension of Level 4 lockdown by a further 14 days, universities have had to continue with online learning and students are becoming increasingly worried about the impact that virtual learning is going to have on their academic standing and their career prospects.
Parent24 spoke to education expert, Atelisha Harilal, who remains adamant, however, that the academic year is not a waste.
