Lira is feeling like herself again.
The South African singer took to social media to share how far she has come since suffering a stroke six months ago.
"Can you believe it's been 6 months - how time flies," she wrote alongside a picture of herself, taken on Friday.
The 43-year-old also revealed that after suffering her stroke, she was diagnosed with aphasia – a language disorder caused by damage in a specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension.
Lira noted, however, that it is reversible and that while she still faces challenges, she is starting to feel like herself again.
Lira added a shoutout to her family, friends and fans for supporting her over the last six months.
