Lira suffered a stroke while in Germany for a performance, a statement revealed in April. At the time, her team said that her ability to communicate, particularly her speech, had been impacted and that she was undergoing treatment.

The 43-year-old's latest health update comes after she checked in with her fans and followers in May to let them know how she was affected by the stroke and how she is recovering.

"The stroke has unfortunately affected my speech; however, I am making lots of progress every day. I will be taking some time to focus on my recovery," she wrote alongside a photo of herself.
