Multi-award-winning singer Lira, who recently suffered a stroke, has shared a throwback snap to her performance during an episode of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen.

"The Queen – A beautiful wedding! I missed this," she wrote on social media. "Pretty cool to watch the pictures."

The singer, whose real name is Lerato Moloi, performed in the episode during which veteran actors Connie Ferguson (who plays Harriet Khoza) and Rapulana Seiphemo (who plays Hector Sebata) got married.

The episode aired in April.

Last week, Lira shared that it was three months since she suffered the stroke.

"I've made such awesome progress – I'm proud of myself, and I give thanks to God. Your prayers have been massively appreciated. I can talk now, although I need a little patience. I can read, and I can write," she shared on social media. "So much love for me makes me emotional. I am doing so well!"

In April, her team shared that she suffered a stroke while in Germany for a performance. At the time, the team said her ability to communicate, particularly her speech, was impacted.
