- Sandra Bullock recently opened up about family life when she sat down with the ladies of Red Table Talk.
- The actor is mom to Louis, 11, and Laila, 8, and has been dating Bryan Randall since 2015.
- She says Randall is "the right human being" to raise her two children with in the candid interview.
Sandra Bullock joined Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris on Red Table Talk this week, where she gushed about longtime partner Bryan Randall, and got candid about her kids.
The Oscar-winner started dating the professional photographer in 2015 and admits: "His whole life had been unravelled because of me.
"He was so happy, but he was scared. I'm a bulldozer. My life was already on the track, and here's this beautiful human being who doesn't want anything to do with my life, but [is] the right human being to be there."
The actor says he sets the best "example" for her children – she adopted her son, Louis, 11, in 2010, and Laila, 8, from foster care in 2015.
"I don't always agree with him, and he doesn't always agree with me, but he is an example even when I don't agree with him," she said of Bryan, who stepped in as a parental figure not too long after the couple started dating.
The star believes her mother, Helga Meyer, who died in 2000, had something to do with her journey to becoming a mom. She says she was staying in Wyoming, where her mother is buried, when she "found out about both babies".
"It makes me really emotional, but I feel beyond a shadow of a doubt that my mother brought me these children. I knew I would be a mother. I knew I wouldn't be a mother at a young age," she said, as she was focussed on her acting career. "That was all that I had. That was my joy. I was on a wheel, but it's hard when society is breathing down your neck going, 'You have to do [motherhood] this way.'"
She continued: "When Louis came into my life, he was put into my arms at 10 days [old]. I just knew, and I said, 'This is my path.'"
