  • Nonku Williams is recovering in hospital after going under the knife for liposuction.
  • She said she decided to go for liposuction on her back, tummy, arms and thighs as they were the "stubborn" areas hindering her from getting her body "snatched".
  • Her Real Housewives of Durban co-star Jojo Robinson, who said her cosmetic surgeries had cost more than R800 000, visited her in hospital.

After sharing that she was going under the knife to get some of the "stubborn" areas on her body "snatched" as part of her health and wellness journey, Real Housewives of Durban star and businesswoman Nonku Williams said her surgery went well, and she is covering.

Williams first shared with her more than 500 000 followers that she was going for liposuction targeted at her back, tummy, arms and thighs on Wednesday. She said she was sharing the information to be "real, open and authentic" with her followers as she improved her health and body.

"I made it," she shared in an update on Thursday. "God is being so good."

"Surgery went super well… I had the best team of doctors at [the] operating room. I'm feeling groggy, a bit nauseous and a bit of pain and swelling for now, as to be expected, but the meds are putting me on a natural high," she continued.

As she recovers, Williams has already been visited by her three children, Nothile, Musawakhe and Phendulile, her mother, often referred to as The Queen, and fellow RHOD star Jojo Robinson, who is no stranger to going under the knife.

In April, Robinson shared that she had undergone "maybe 20 plus" cosmetic surgeries, but only six or seven of them were major. She also revealed that the surgeries had cost more than R800 000.
