The Book of Clarence is a comedy adventure, starring LaKeith Stanfield, about a struggling streetwise hustler living in A.D. 33 Jerusalem. He tries to create a better life for his family and free himself from debt.

After seeing the rise of Jesus Christ and his impact on society, the character Clarence plans his biggest con yet: convincing the world that he is the new Messiah. In the process, Clarence finds the redemptive power of belief.

The film is written and directed Jeymes Samuel, co-produced by Jay-Z and also stars Omar Sy, RJ Cyler, Anna Diop, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodard, Teyana Taylor and others.
