"You better lose yourself in the music/The moment you own it you better never let it go/You only get one shot/Do not miss your chance to blow/This opportunity comes once in a lifetime," the iconic lyrics from the song go, and it's near impossible not to sing along.
Lose Yourself was written for the 2002 film 8 Mile, in which Eminem also starred.
According to Billboard, the track debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart that year.
Lose Yourself becomes only the third song from the 2000s to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify, the publication also points out.
The other two tracks are Mr. Brightside from The Killers (2004) and I'm Yours by Jason Mraz (2008).
