P!nk is the most-played female artist in the UK for the 21st century.
According to data gathered by PPL, the American star tops the leader board, with Madonna and Katy Perry following closely behind in second and third place respectively.
"To celebrate @AlbumDayUK, which this year is spotlighting women, we have compiled a chart of the most played female artist of the 21st Century in the UK using PPL airplay data. Huge congratulations to @Pink who reached the top spot [sic]," PPL tweeted on Monday.

According to the PPL site, the list was compiled using "exclusive music usage and airplay data from UK radio stations and television channels."
Adele (number six) and Little Mix (number 9) are the only UK acts to crack the top 10, with American acts dominating the chart.
