"From Lagos to the world", chanted the filmmakers and guests ahead of the screening of the Disney series Iwájú.

The six-episode series by Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pan-African Entertainment Company Kugali had its world premiere in Lagos, Nigeria, at the Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX Lekki.

Filmmakers Olufikayo Ziki Adeola (director), Hamid Ibrahim (production designer), Tolu Olowofoyeku (cultural consultant) and Ré Olunuga (music) were joined by the voice cast as special guests and celebrities celebrated the release of the science fiction series now available to stream on Disney+.
