Veteran actor Nthati Moshesh managed to add an element of surprise when she pulled the wool over the judge's eyes. They were unable to guess that she was the one behind the Springbok mask. 

In the first episode of season two of The Masked Singer South Africa, J'Something, Somizi Mhlongo, Skhumba Hlophe, and Sithelo Shozi had a tough time, and all their wild guesses were nowhere close to the actor. 

The first episode featured four masked singers facing off in two battles. Wildebeest and Springbok went head to head; after that, Butterfly and Rainbow vied for the votes of the detective panel and studio audience.
