The host of Love & Translation on TLC (DStv 135), Sangita Patel, says jaded viewers should keep watching and will be pleasantly surprised by what's in store for the men and women in this dating reality show since "it's amazing how this experiment works".

By "experiment", she means women from different countries all over the world, brought together in a tropical villa to meet three eligible bachelors from the United States. The twist? None of the women can speak or understand a word of English.

Sangita, who was the co-host of Entertainment Tonight Canada for a decade, jumped at the chance to be the host of this new TLC reality series even though the 45-year-old was diagnosed with thyroid cancer last year and underwent surgery in October.
