Real Housewives of Pretoria star Melany Viljoen will appear in the Afrikaans telenovela Diepe Waters. This comes amid the controversy involving Viljoen and her husband's legal dispute with US nail company CEO Tammy Taylor.

The two episodes featuring Viljoen will be aired on 10 and 11 April at 18:30 on kykNET (DStv 144). The series is also available on DStv Stream and Catch Up.

Viljoen will play herself as she gives some of the professional women swimmers in the series a fresh new look and visits Skinvestment. Viljoen's character seems to be already acquainted with the people of Diepe Waters, as she knows Thandi, played by Zinhle Mathibela.
