This year's Sunday Times Literary Awards have been won by Bulelwa Mabasa for My Land Obsession (Picador Africa) and CA Davids for How to Be a Revolutionary (Umuzi). The winners of the 2023 awards, based on books published over the previous year, were announced at a ceremony on 1 November in Johannesburg.

The Sunday Times Literary Awards are given in partnership with Exclusive Books.

My Land Obsession is a memoir by Advocate Mabasa, describing how she went from a township childhood to being an advocate who works on land rights at a leading firm of lawyers. She was appointed to the presidential panel on land reform.
