The one engine you may be neglecting: How to service your generator to 'save you money and hassle'

While most of us realise the importance of servicing our cars regularly, that mindfulness is not always extended to other engines we own, such as lawnmowers and generators. Given the demands of almost-constant load shedding, we thought this might be a good time to look at the job that may not be topmost in your mind – servicing your generator.

We asked an expert, Motul South Africa's technical manager, Taki Bogiages, to take us through the process of giving your generator a minor service and an oil change.
