Rules are tweaked and changed frequently in the dating world, but there's etiquette to be followed, even though unspoken. 

Dating coach Leigh Joy Mansel-Pleydell says people want to control their environment because they won't get hurt.

"Some people don't have boundaries and ask inappropriate questions because they are nosy; however, the possible response to these questions early on in the relationship could be to be ghosted and the connection terminated."
