The new generation of toddlers is popularly known for holding adults accountable for their actions, and they have great communication skills.

They can verbally express how they feel, which makes you understand why elders always said you have to be honest with toddlers. They remember everything. The internet got treated to a wholesome moment between a mother having a heart-to-heart conversation with her adorable four-year-old.

The video begins with the Canadian toddler named Aldie telling his mom, "Today, you did not make smart choices. You hurt my feelings by not going outside, so that's why I didn't want to make a smart choice."

He continues to express the emotions he felt earlier on in the day that inhibited him from going outside as well. "You know earlier? I couldn't go outside, so I was still a little sad." While looking at him, the mother responds by telling him that it was because of the consequence of his actions.

"Yeah, but that was a consequence," the mom adds. The toddler continued to express how his emotions fluctuated throughout the day. "Yeah, after I was a little sad, I was a little bit upset. More than a little."

His mother then explains to him that that's how life goes sometimes. "We all get upset sometimes, and we don't get what we want all the time." He then informs his mother that it's "hard for babies" when they get upset and sad over not getting what they want.

"They're still babies; they don't understand they have to not do that. Earlier, I chose to be a tiny bit mad, but after a while, I was okay!"

His mother repeats that life is like that, and sometimes we get upset, we get mad, we cry," and just before the mother could finish, he excitedly adds, "That's emotions, mama!" and then they hug right after the conversation.
