Maintaining a relationship when you're in the public eye can be challenging. There are all kinds of rumours about the relationship, daily opinions about how you look as a pair and how the relationship won't last. Due to these reasons and more, celebrity couples usually don't last long. However, just like normal people, celebrities are not exempt from retracting steps and getting back with their exes. Some of the stars who have taken these steps have ended up walking down the aisle. Here's a list of celebrity couples who rekindled their romance after years apart.

Ashanti and Nelly began dating back in 2003, and their relationship lasted for ten years on and off before they ended things in 2013. Ashanti, at the time, shared that she felt betrayed by the rapper. The RnB singer made an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' and shared that she and Nelly were at a much better place after they bumped into each other at the Fat Joe and Ja Rule Verzuz in September 2021. Around April this year, the pair was spotted wearing matching outfits to the Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia fight in Las Vegas. The following day, they performed their 2008 hit song, 'Body on Me', at a pool party together and they danced on each other while performing. On 12 September, Nelly confirmed with a big smile on Philo TV's 'Boss Moves With Rasheeda' that they are back together. Ashanti followed up by appearing at the 2023 VMAs wearing a sheer glittering gown with an emerald bedazzled bustier. She matched her look with a clutch that had a photo of her and Nelly from decades before.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez
The couple broke the internet when rumours of them getting back together started swirling. That was because the pair began dating in 2002 and got engaged that very same year. Their wedding was postponed to September the following year. However, in 2004, the couple officially split. In 2021, rumours of the pair getting back together started circulating. This was after Jennifer Lopez had ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. Paparazzi caught Ben Affleck being picked up by security and dropped off after spending a few hours at J.Lo's house. Soon after, the pair jetted off to Ben's vacation home and kept in contact. They then started involving their kids as they would spend time at each other's homes. Fast forward to 2022, and the pair got engaged, in the middle of the year, images of the couple getting married in Las Vegas surfaced. In August the same year, they had a second wedding with a star-studded guest list. This year, they celebrated their one-year anniversary.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber
In 2009, Cosmopolitan reported that Hailey Bieber's dad introduced her to Justin; however, the couple only got together in February 2015. Their relationship was short-lived, as it ended in 2016. They then went into relationships with other famous people. Hailey was reportedly dating Canadian artist The Weeknd. Justin, on the other hand, dated Sofia Richie. In 2018, Hailey and Justin were spotted together in New York, and rumours of them being back together began. A month later, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to announce that he and Hailey had gotten engaged. He posted a lengthy caption mentioning that he was committed to spending his life with Hailey. Two months later, the couple had a courthouse wedding in New York City and had their second star-studded wedding in September 2019. Just recently, the couple celebrated five years of marriage.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
One of the most iconic reconciliations has to be Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake. The pair started dating back in 2007 but broke up in February 2011. Their break up didn't last long, as they got back together the same year. Justin Timberlake was so heartbroken that he told Vanity Fair that he missed Jessica. "She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay? I would rather not talk about her because it's hurtful for me." The couple got back together, and the following year, got engaged. Nine months after announcing their engagement, they had a Southern Italy ceremony. They have two children.
