In this moment, couples pull out every stop to leave the crowd in stitches, revealing secrets and other musings. One groom decided to deliver a semi-explicit speech by sharing a story from a trip to Germany that made him realise that his wife was the one.

Taking to TikTok, a groom named Josh Johnson posted a video of him delivering his wedding speech after getting married. "Now, as you can probably tell, I'm not really one for public speaking, nor am I really one for public displays of affection, which is tricky when tasked with writing a groom's speech. So, instead of reeling off a list of the usual clichés, I thought I'd instead tell the story of the exact moment I realised I simply had to marry Olivia," he said.
The wedding guests let out a few 'Aws' and gasping sounds. Before telling the story, he asked his wife if she was ready.

"We were on a road trip through Germany, and we're about half-way through our journey. It was a gorgeous summer's day, and we had no plans, so we decided to just venture out in the car, meander through the Black Forest and see where we ended up. After about an hour, we stumbled across one of the most serene-looking lakes I've ever seen where people are swimming and hiring boats."
He continued his speech by mentioning the name of the lake, which he claimed played a significant role in their story, which is Lake Titisee.
"Anyway, we decided to park up, and I managed with some broken German to hire a boat for an hour. We got in, navigated to the middle of this lake and found a spot where there was nobody really near us, so we could enjoy what was now 32-degree heat in peace."

He continues to add that because they hadn't planned going to the lake, they didn't have their swimsuits, so his wife decided to improvise as there were no people around and the sun was scorching.
"After about 10 seconds of persuading, Olivia thought it was best to completely strip off and dice straight in."
He continued to add that despite the great idea, his wife didn't comprehend how she would have to get back onto the boat. "It turns out pulling somebody back onto a boat covered in sunscreen is incredibly difficult. Particularly when you cannot contain your own laughter."

"After a few failed attempts and several expletives later, I ingeniously thought the best way to get Olivia back onto this boat was to throw my belt to her so she could pull herself back up. Unfortunately, this plan had a large flaw. A flaw in the shape of a ferry full of camera-wielding German tourists pulling its horn as it very slowly navigated towards us. And at that very moment, I looked into the eyes of my then girlfriend, and I could see the perfect mixture of embarrassment and indifference, and this ladies and gentlemen on Lake Titisee with nude future wife clinging for dear life was the exact moment I realised that there was nobody else in the world I'd rather be with."
