Celebrities enjoy playing a role in their fans' weddings, from those who crash to those who decide to officiate. Some purposely attend weddings to surprise their fans. While others happen to be going about their lives and bump into couples getting married, then decide to join them.

Marvel's Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo who crashed a Welsh couple's wedding in New York, is joining the long list of celebrities who have done this.

Welsh queer couple, Klaire Hodgson and Lynz Tanner from Gwynedd, decided to spontaneously tie the knot in Central Park, New York, when Mark Ruffalo passed by. The couple noticed him before calling him over.

"I was like, 'No, that's not going to be Mark Ruffalo. He's not going to be walking through at the time of my wedding'," Lynz says. It turned out, in fact, to be the actor, and fortunately for the Welsh couple, he was kind enough to stop and take pictures with them.

"As soon as we said, 'Mark Ruffalo', he turned around and was like, 'Yep'." Lynz also shared that he is very sweet, "He obviously had somewhere to go and people to see, but he stopped and took a few photos."
