  • There are many rules when it comes to weddings, but one surpasses them all: there are no proposals allowed at a wedding.
  • As such, a viral video of a woman getting proposed to at her sister's wedding has divided the internet.
  • Some call the proposal sweet, while others feel she stole her sister's spotlight.

Weddings are known to be a no-go area for pregnancy announcements, proposals or any other form of announcement that could take the attention away from the couple. However, these siblings proved that with good intentions, a proposal could be made at someone else's wedding.

A clip of a bridesmaid getting proposed to at her sister's wedding has gone viral. The video has the internet divided with opinions regarding whether or not she stole the spotlight from her sister.

The TikTok video was posted last Friday, showing a bride preparing to do the traditional tossing of a bouquet to bridesmaids. She stopped to walk towards her sister, who was also a bridesmaid and handed her the bouquet instead.

The sister reacted with confusion as she had no idea what was happening, but soon her boyfriend emerged in the clip. He walked towards her holding a ring box, before he dropped to one knee and popped the question. The bridesmaid hid her face for a moment before she nodded, saying 'Yes'.

Some are against the idea and said, "No, you just don't do that at a wedding." Another added, "I mean, very cute, but I'm not sharing my day."

Others were in support of the proposal and thought it was sweet, "I love that you shared your spotlight with your sis." Another added, "To all y'all saying 'not my wedding', well, clearly it isn't. Keep negative vibes to yourself."
