As the world is currently experiencing climate change, there has been endless flooding, heatwaves, earthquakes and typhoons.
These natural disasters have sometimes forced events like weddings to be pushed back. However, for one bride in the Philippines, a typhoon did not stop her from walking down the aisle. She decided to walk down a flooded aisle so she could say "I do" to her significant other.

A video has been going viral of a couple who pressed ahead with their wedding at a flooded church, despite intense monsoon rains in the region. In the video, the bride can be seen walking through the water in the church as she moves closer to the altar with her wedding dress and veil floating. The groom patiently waits at the altar alongside his parents. He, however, looked more prepared as he was wearing pants rolled up and had swopped his formal shoes for slides.

BBC News also shared the video on Instagram and it received over 70 000 likes and very positive comments.
One person said: "I love how she's smiling even in this situation and just genuinely happy that she's getting married."
