WATCH | Drake almost proposed to 42 different women and he’s designed a necklace to represent them

Certified lover boy and Canadian rapper Drake's latest bling includes a custom diamond necklace that is made of 42 engagement rings that represent the 42 times he thought of proposing to different women but decided not to.

The award winning artist continues his reputation of having a big collection of jewellery. He has tons of watches including a customised RM-056 that he gifted himself for his 35th birthday. The watch, made from sapphire crystal and titanium, is immune to temperature variations and has only five units produced.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, celebrity jeweller Alex Moss, who made the necklace said the piece is called 'Previous Engagements'.

It was assembled using 351,38 carats of diamonds mounted on 18K white gold and took 14 months to make.

While Drake hasn't commented on the meaning of the necklace, he did wear it at American rapper, Lil Baby's birthday concert in Atlanta last Saturday at State Farm Arena.

In June, the platinum-selling artist invoked his Jewish background by releasing a music video for his song, 'Falling Back' from his album, 'Honestly Nevermind'.

The music video featured him as a groom in a wedding officiated by an Orthodox rabbi in a black hat. The wedding has Drake marrying 23 brides and at the end of the video the rabbi asks one of the 23 brides, "Do you commit yourself to being a good wife, according to our values and traditions?"

The bride responds by saying "I do" and thereafter she is echoed by the other 22 women behind her in their wedding dresses.

Towards the end of the video, Drake and his 23 brides pose for picture. Drake has never been married but he has a son named, Adonis.
