Judith Leshabane ensured that going down on one knee to ask the woman of her dreams to marry her was grand and memorable.
She had planned to propose to her partner of four months, Bonisiwe Fernandez, three weeks ago, but their plan of going away on holiday and her popping the question on a boat cruise did not materialise.

All wasn't lost, though. Judith was determined to pop the question.
A friend told her that her favourite singer, Kelly Khumalo, would perform in her home province, Limpopo, at Meropa Casino.

Judith tells us she took her chances and sent Kelly a message on Instagram. "I poured my heart out. In an hour, she responded, and she was so keen. I didn't even know how I would do it, but I knew I wanted to propose to this woman. Kelly was so sweet about it, and the manager helped plan how it would all go on the day."
As seen in a trending social media video, Kelly calls Judith to the stage to do "something special".
"I was so scared, shaking and nervous," Judith tells us.
"While I was on stage, my heart was beating so fast. Kelly hugged me and told me that I could do it and after she said that, I dared to stand in front of the crowd watching in anticipation."
Bonisiwe was taken by the hand by Kelly's manager while in the crowd.

"I had no idea this was going to happen. Late in the evening [at the concert], Kelly mentioned that there was a special somebody who wanted to do something. My stomach turned, my nerves woke up, and I had goosebumps. I asked myself what was happening and why she was going up on stage," says Bonisiwe.
"I kept calm, but I was in shock. When she went down on one knee, I was like, 'Wow'."

The bride-to-be [Bonisiwe] says she is immensely happy and humbled by all that has happened. After years of knowing each other through a mutual friend, they have fallen in love and look forward to a happily ever after.
