In the era of heightened focus on hydration, social media enthusiasts have embraced the #WaterTok trend on platforms like TikTok, but the trend has left many questioning whether the concoction is still ‘water’ and if there are health implications associated with its consumption.   

The hashtag, with a staggering 1 billion views, has taken social media by storm and pushed the flavoured water trend into the spotlight.

This is accompanied by hashtags like #Hydration, boasting 2.3 billion views, and #FlavouredWater, with 580.3 million views.
