Hostex introduces first wine bar in 38 years, cosigns wine service training for waiters

For the first time in almost 40 years, Hostex introduced a wine bar to shine the spotlight on the wine industry's importance to the South African economy and restaurants. 

The biannual food, drinks and hospitality expo which took place at the Sandton Convention Centre between 3 and 5 March, officially closed its doors on Tuesday after a three-day show.

It featured the launch of new food and beverage products, showcased cutting-edge tech solutions aimed at the food industry, and included six new exhibitors in the new wine bar, among many other things.
