South African fashion designer Rich Mnisi scored an invitation from Beyoncé to attend the launch of her highly anticipated hair care line, Cécred, and he left a lasting impression in his pristine white suit.
Draped in sophistication, the fashion mogul and visionary behind the luxury brand Rich Mnisi pulled all the stops on his attire for the occasion hosted in Los Angeles.
He wore a white two-piece ensemble featuring flared pants and a cross-over blazer with tie details, showcasing his effortless sense of style.
In his Instagram post, he wrote, "@Beyonce called and I had to pick up."
Mnisi’s followers on the platform joined the celebration, expressing that he deserved the invitation.
Notable celebrities such as Pearl Thusi wrote, "I mean, who else would she call?" while Siya Bunny commented, "Rich, you will always be famous."
Captured in one of the posts was a candid moment where the fashion icon was having a conversation with the Queen Bee herself.
Knowles, staying true to the theme of the event, also radiated elegance in an oversized white jumpsuit and completed the look with a half-up, half-down hairstyle.
Cécred launch
The wait is finally over for Beyonce’s highly anticipated hair care line, Cécred, which is said to have been in the trial and testing phase for six years.
On 7 February 2024, the singer posted a teaser of the products on the Cécred Instagram page, confirming that the rumours about her launching a hair care line were true.
The hair care line, inspired by her mother, who owned a salon, offers several products, including a clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub, nourishing hair oil, moisture sealing lotion, and a reconstructing treatment mask infused with bioactive keratin ferment technology.
"It’s been my lifelong dream to create these hair products and bring some of my mother’s teachings to life. We started by prioritising the needs of textured hair like mine and others who lack moisture and strength.
"It was important to honour past rituals while infusing our personal touch by adding advanced science to build new sacred rituals. The result was haircare defined by its performance, quality, and intention," she said.
Available exclusively through Cécred's online platform, the products range from $30 (R567) to $52 (R984), catering to diverse hair care needs.
Building upon the success of her previous venture into fragrances with Cé Noir, Cécred also integrates fragrance into its product lineup.
Under the guidance of global stylist Neal Farinah and head of education Dr Kari Williams, Cécred promises inclusivity through rigorous clinical, laboratory, and salon trials, setting new standards of excellence in the beauty industry.
“I built Cécred from the ground up. I poured into it everything I’ve learned throughout my life so we can borrow some of our past and bring it to the future,” Knowles said.
"Cécred is about prioritising yourself and all the things you hold sacred."
