There's something happening on the Helderberg, again, still. Alto's bought part of Bilton wines' farm.  

While this biblical storm rages in the Western Cape, hampering our fire-making for the Heritage Day-long weekend braais - and the Boks loss to Ireland - I can't help but feel strangely buoyed. Though it may be a misplaced sense of hope due to a reduced load shedding schedule, this consistent rain may very well be wreaking untold havoc on the vines.
