Soon the sights and sounds of Jurrasic giants will visit Bloemfontein to entertain and educate children of all ages.

Dinosaur World will be open on the showgrounds in Bloemfontein from 18 to 21 July.

The captivating tale of the dinosaurs serves as a poignant reminder for us to actively engage in climate change initiatives to avoid facing a fate similar to that which befell these ancient creatures.

Get ready to be amazed as lifelike animatronic dinosaurs take over Bloemfontein this year at the Jurassic Giant Festival. After the success it enjoyed in Durban and Pretoria in 2023, this incredible and educational exhibition will come to the Free State for the first time.

Families and schools from across the province are invited to come and witness this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There will be an even bigger experience as Dinosaur World goes outdoors and expands to become ten times larger.

At the Jurassic Giants Festival in Bloemfontein, you will have the chance to see two incredible Jurassic giants up close: the majestic Tyrannosaurus rex, measuring 13 m, and the Austrolotitan, towering at 20 m. There will be many other attractions for maximum family fun and entertainment, spread over a whopping 10 000 m².

You can expect various exhibitors, music DJs, food stalls, and exhibitors from across the Free State to participate in this dinosaur jamboree.

The Dino Expo has taken things to a whole new level, offering a jaw-dropping Jurassic jungle experience that will keep the whole family entertained all day long.

Ticket prices for the Jurassic Giants Festival vary depending on when you book. Early bird tickets, available before the 10 April, are priced at R50 per person for the common area. Family and group tickets are also available at discounted rates. Standard ticket prices, for bookings made after 11 April 2024, will be slightly higher.

Book your ticket and get more information at the website bloemfontein.dinoworldsa.com.
