Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair, is returning to Gqeberha.

Many may remember the previous visit in November 2016, when around 36 000 visitors were welcomed up the gangways. Now, Logos Hope will make another visit.

Logos Hope’s onboard book fair offers an expanded selection of over 5 000 different titles at affordable prices. With children’s titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases, and more, the book fair is something the whole family can enjoy.

The Visitor Experience Deck, open to the public, beckons exploration. From the Welcome Area, offering an introduction to the vessel through a short movie and interactive displays, to the International Café, where delightful treats are available for purchase, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Logos Hope will open to the public at the Port of Gqeberha from February 23 to March 17. Opening hours are 11:00 to 19:00 Tuesday to Thursday, 11:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday, and 13:00 to 20:00 on Sunday. They will be closed on Mondays.

Entrance is R10 per adult (ages 13 to 64) and is free to adults 65 and older, and to children under 12. Note that port fees are not included in entrance prices. Tickets are sold until one hour before closing. The ship will open for schools between 11:00 and 13:00, Tuesday to Friday.
