The South African Police Service in Gqeberha will be having a police auction on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, where a variety of items will go under the hammer.

Viewing will be done on Monday, June 13 between 09:00 and 14:00 at the Southdene Auction Centre in Forest Hill Drive (behind the airport). All prospective buyers must register on the viewing date. Proof of identity and residence must be produced upon registration. No registration fees will be charged.

Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that some of the items to be auctioned include: bicycles, TVs, DVDs, Hardware, tools and furniture.

"Strict COVID protocols will be maintained. Only a maximum of ten persons at a time will be allowed in the auction centre during viewing," she said.

"The auction will start at 10:00 at the abovementioned venue and strict COVID protocols will also be maintained on the day of the auction. Conditions of sale can be obtained from the auctioneer on the day of the auction."
