Detectives at SAPS Humansdorp are seeking the community's assistance in tracing Tulani Mgwatyu (26) from Gqeberha who is a suspect wanted for the robbery of a retail store in Humansdorp in September 2019.
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, it is alleged that in September 2019, six men entered a clothing store in Humansdorp and held the staff and customers at gunpoint.
She said that soon after the incident, they were arrested while on their way to Gqeberha.
Naidu said that the suspects appeared in court and four were denied bail while only two were granted bail.
“Mgwatyu from Tambo Village, Nomzamo Street in Kwazakele was granted bail, however, he failed to make further court appearances,” said Naidu.
