Brothels are popping up in Goodwood like mushrooms, says a resident.
After another incident was reported by residents claiming that just after the previous residents of a property in Victoria Street moved out, people have been going in and out of the property with different women entering and the owner exhibiting dodgy behaviour.
Another 67-year-old resident, says that as a taxpayer he and residents from the Goodwood area are tired.
They are asking who the people are allowing it to happen and want to know who was notified about “the business” that is operating in a non-business area.
Jerome Hendricks, chair of Goodwood Residents Safety Patrols, says “they are doing it very discretely though, but there is lots of movement at the house, especially over weekends during the day and at night.”
According to Goodwood police, the office is aware of the address where a successful integrated operation was conducted on Thursday 22 September.
According to Capt Wayne Theunis Goodwood police will act on any future reports of irregularities.
