Attention, all birders! It’s almost time for the African Bird Fair

Join like-minded twitchers for a winter’s day of all things bird-related. The 2023 African Bird Fair, hosted by BirdLife SA, is the biggest birding event on the continent and this year’s line-up promises everything from inspiring talks by internationally renowned experts to book signings and workshops.

Younger attendees aged 7 to 13 can take part in a colouring-in competition hosted by go! columnist and birding legend, Faansie Peacock. Yes, there will be prizes up for grabs!
