It’s November and twinkling Christmas decorations are already adorning homes and malls alike. By now, you've most likely have turned your attention to your festive season shopping list, and you might be wondering where you can snag some last-minute festive deals ahead of Christmas. Well, Game, South Africa’s most Googled retailer during Black Friday 2019, has got you covered.
Since announcing they’ll be holding weekly Black Friday deals and specials all November long, Game is taking things a step further for their customers by extending their operating hours. Shoppers can now increase their chances of snapping up the last of the exciting deals lined up and save ahead of Christmas.
The extended trading hours are as follows:
- 25 – 27 November: 06:00 – 20:00
- 28 November: 8:00 – 18:00
- 29 November: 09:00 – 17:00

Delivery services
Anticipating a surge of online purchases in November, Game has upped its delivery game. Customers can now expect a 10 – 14-day delivery time for all Black Friday orders. The delivery fee will be capped at R90, but additional charges will be included on large items like fridges and chest freezers. These items carry a R70 surcharge per item, per order.
In addition to their existing online store delivery service, Game will also be running deliveries through Uber Eats. After initiating a partnership with Uber Eats during level 5 lockdown, they’ve kept the partnership alive for their November campaign. This service will now provide home and office essentials.
Save even more with Game’s ‘1 Cent Price Surprise’
The hugely popular 1 Cent Price Surprise is back by popular demand! After launching this initiative during Black Friday in 2019, it became a hit. While snagging Black Friday deals in-store or online, customers can stand a chance to save even more by paying just one cent at checkout for selected products. Winners of the one cent items will be randomly selected during the month of November and if you’re the lucky winner, you walk away with an amazing item – for just one cent!
