So… What exactly is Wi-Fi 6?
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) is a new-generation Wi-Fi standard which is supported by orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA), a 5G single-source technology, and comes with even faster connection and download speeds.

30% lower power consumption: the on-demand wake-up functionality of devices reduces power consumption by 30%. Wi-Fi 6 communicates with multiple devices to activate on-demand wakeup, which saves power when the devices are not being used. Its predecessor, Wi-Fi 5 routers, can only communicate with one device at a time. This means it consumes battery power even when devices aren’t always in use.
