The DA's highest decision-making body has decided to proceed with disciplinary action against a Cape Town councillor who is embroiled in a qualifications scandal.
DA federal council chairperson Helen Zille confirmed to News24 that proportional ward councillor Abdulkader Elyas "has a case to answer".
Elyas is alleged to have lied about having business and medical qualifications.
