A Cape Town man has been arrested for animal cruelty after the Cape of Good Hope SPCA received a tip-off and video footage of the man allegedly strangling a dog left in his care.
SPCA spokesperson Belinda Abraham said the dog, named Olaf, later died at the Animal Welfare Helderberg on 14 March.
