Hammanskraal water treatment plant faces risk of 'sabotage from vested interests' - Tshwane mayor

The package water treatment plant being built in Hammanskraal, which will supply residents with clean water, faces the risk of sabotage.

This is according to the Tshwane Mayor Cilliers Brink who, with Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu, conducted site visits at the dilapidated Rooiwal wastewater treatment works and Klipdrift water treatment works on Wednesday.

The package plant, expected to be completed by September this year, will provide clean water while the Rooiwal plant is fixed and upgraded.
