The judge presiding over the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial slammed a defence attorney's non-appearance in court on Wednesday, as well as his failure to alert the court beforehand.
Prosecutor George Baloyi informed Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng that Muzi Sibiya's attorney, Thulani Mngomezulu, was not available for the day's proceedings.
"When I spoke to him this morning, he indicated that he doesn't have a problem if the witnesses go ahead and give evidence. He arranged with one of the colleagues to stand in," Baloyi told the court.
