The three Gauteng-based Reddford House schools, part of the Inspired Education Group, a leading global premium schools group, delivered excellent results with a 100% matric pass rate in the IEB National Senior Certificate exams.

The combined Reddford House matriculants – from Northcliff and Blue Hills in Johannesburg and The Hills in Pretoria – achieved a total of 57 distinctions. These results are particularly impressive considering that the schools are non-selective.

Amanda Thompson is Reddford's top achiever having received a Commendable Achievement from the IEB for being ranked within the top 5% of learners in five subjects and achieving a rating of seven (an A) in Life Orientation in the National Senior certificate examination of November 2020.

Ronel Burger, Managing Director of Reddford House schools, congratulated every matriculant and their team of teachers on these exceptional results achieved despite a year of disruption and difficulties.

"We strive to ensure that every student leaves a Reddford House school with confidence and self-assurance, equipped to think, to understand and apply, and overcome the challenges that life holds for them as tertiary students and in their careers."

"Here they have gained insight into what it means to be a successful leader and we wish them all the best in their life journeys."

A Reddford House The Hills all-round achiever, Mokgadi Macheka, who joined the school at the age of 12 had this to say of her time at the school, "I started at the school as a reserved and anxiety-ridden girl, expecting the worst because of past experiences."

"Though the transition to a new, nurturing and modern environment built for individuality was somewhat daunting, I discovered that one of many of the fine aspects of the school is instilling the individual power of self-expression in its students. Having studied the violin for some years, I became the first violinist ever to play on stage at Reddford House The Hills."

Mokgadi went on to achieve a slew of distinctions and merits in her academic and art work at the school, and now, having matriculated with distinction, she says, "My experience at Reddford changed my life forever. The best decision I made was joining the Reddford family at The Hills. Yes, 2020 was difficult, but the class of 2020 flew confidently and made it through adversity together, after all, the Reddford House motto is I am, because we are."

The Reddford House brand has grown exponentially since its 2015 inception. Reddford House schools are non-selective schools that pride themselves on ensuring that students reach their full potential in the nurturing yet disciplined environment that ensures exceptional academic standards and results.
