With the end of the Premier League season approaching, questions remain over the Dutchman's future at the 20-time English champions.
The team's poor form this campaign has led to doubts over the manager's ability to turn things around at Old Trafford, despite the arrival of new billionaire co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the expected changes upstairs.
Rumours suggest Ratcliffe could call time on Ten Hag’s spell in charge a year before his deal in England runs out, with there being a belief he could look to begin his reign at the Red Devils with a new face in the dugout.
Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has been linked with the role, having previously worked in the country and won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea.
According to a new report from Football Insider, the German tactician, who is set to leave the Bavarians at the end of the season, would be ready to accept a proposal from United.
While he has been a divisive figure in recent years, Tuchel has won trophies with four different clubs – Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Bayern – and will be available come next month.
