Cristiano Ronaldo's apparent fairy tale return to Old Trafford is being hailed as "sensational". Meanwhile, it's an overly sentimental signing that will do absolutely nothing to help Manchester United reclaim their former glory in the English Premier League. If anything, he might make them worse.

I've never been particularly fond of Manchester United.

I can't really divulge my reasons for that, simply because I really don't know why, to me, they lack appeal.
