Sharks lock Eben Etzebeth says they have "no excuses" for their distinctly sub-standard 2023/24 season that has gone from bad to worse at almost every stage.

They return to United Rugby Championship (URC) action this weekend when they host Irish club Ulster at Kings Park on Saturday.

The Sharks are rock-bottom on the URC table with one win from 11 games, with this game coming off the dispiriting 40-10 loss to the Lions in their most recent outing on 2 March.
