Mkhuseli Jho, whose last-born son Somanga toiled manfully for Dale College in their 20-13 loss to Queen's College on Saturday, perhaps put it best.
"That we're seeing these kids struggling on the field ... is one thing. The most important thing is that they're playing after this difficult period," he mused during a quiet phase in an exciting, but scrappy 164th Reunion fixture at a wet and cold Victoria Recreation Ground at the Queen's College campus in Berry Street, Komani.
Jho's son, Somanga, is the third Jho brother to play for Dale's first team after rockstar midfielder and South African Schools rugby representative Andile (2007-2010) and hard-working loose-forward Somila (2011-2013).
