Similar to Thuli P, Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubulo also shot to stardom on Generations and Isidingo. He then established his career in the music with hits such as AmaBenjamin and Mamelani.
Queen Latifah
Queen Latifah reigned as the queen of rap in the U.S. for a decades but music is not her only focal point. She has also starred in multiple productions such as Last Holiday, Bringing Down the House and Mad Money.
Sicelo Buthelezi
Sicelo ‘Seekay’ Buthelezi played Teddy on Mzansi Magic’s Gomora and now Tobias on Skeem Saam.
Seekay has also acclaimed himself as a musician and has multiple singles and features, with the most popular one being the amapiano single Snake Park.
Thembi Seete
The OG musician Thembi Seete had a great music career in the 90s, having featured on hits such as Thobela as part of the legendary kwaito group Boom Shaka.
Thembi then expanded her craft when she delved into acting and presenting, playing Nina Moloi on SABC 1’s Zone 14 and Gladys on Mzansi Magic’s Gomora.
