Doing a perfect liner can be really tricky; and even when I have to do it on myself I have definitely struggled. For me, the gel liner is the easiest to use as it doesn’t run or smudge as easily as liquid liner and has amazing staying power.
It's a favourite look of mine for a shoot and looks especially pretty when the rest of the face is left simple and fresh.
So, here is how to get the look:
Take a liner brush and, using MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, create a triangle on either corner of the outer eye. The size or length of the triangle would depend on the size of your lid.
I don’t suit a winged out cat eye, so I keep my triangle small. The shape makes it easier to create the rest of the eye as you can then work the liner from the top part of the triangle to create your shape and then fill in the rest of the eye.
I use the Zoeva wing liner brush from the rose gold collection, but I also love the small MAC 263 angle brush to create this look. The angle of the brush makes it so much easier to create the look.
