I’m a lover of nail polish, the trendy colours and latest nail arts are some of the things that I always keep my eye out for.
I will admit that I didn’t know about this range until recently our Beauty editor handed me a bottle.
I was a bit taken aback by the shimmery silver colour but I was willing to try it out and boy was I pleasantly surprised.
Firstly, the smell of the polish wasn’t overwhelming.
It has a sweet fragrance as it doesn’t contain any of harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, toluene or dibutyl phthalate that is used in most nail products and give it that strong, chemical smell.
The Colours
Ice Box colours are truly one of a kind. Their Metamorphose range have a great technological innovation that changes colour when in the sun or under UV light - amazing stuff. It literally goes from clear to colour in a matter of seconds!
I was happy to find that my colour wasn’t be a dull silver, but shimmery and sparkly, with bronze accents when in the sun.
I overall loved the nail polish. I’ve had it on for about a week and there aren’t any nasty chips or cracks. It still has that sparkly glow that makes it look like it has just been applied. This honestly far supersedes the quality of many other brands I’ve tried out.
Should you try it?
Most definitely! Not only will you be supporting a proudly SA brand, but you’ll truly be pampering your nails with a great quality buy.
