Teenager slices off own penis and 4 other horrible things people have done on drugs

Meow Meow and the penis incident

A 19 year-old university student (who used to be a pleasant and perfectly normal dude by all accounts) got high on Mephedrone, stabbed his mom and sliced off his penis. Luckily the mother is fine and his penis got sewn back on, but that does not qualify as a fun Friday night.

Bath Salts and cannibalism

Everyone surely remembers the Rudy Eugene case or the “Miami face-eating incident” as it was called by many. A naked man attacked a homeless man, accused him of stealing his Bible, pulled his pants off and chewed most of his face off. The drug Bath Salts was suspected, since people under the influence have known to become very bitey, but toxicology reports could only find marijuana in the perpetrator’s blood and the cause of his insane behaviour remains unknown. Definitely not irie man.

Barbiturates, Quaaludes, LSD and mass suicide

Jim Jones was a cult leader who was constantly off his face. This made him paranoid – he had serious issues with the CIA and generally batshit crazy. Things started going seriously downhill as his drug addiction and delusions of grandeur escalated. He started having sex with a lot of the women of the cult and as things got progressively worse he initiated a mass suicide where 909 people died of cyanide poisoning, 303 of them children.

PCP turns rapper into violent zombie

PCP aka angeldust aka illy aka that-drug-that-turns-you-into-a-violent-freak has danced nasty tangos with a lot of users. The most horrific case was probably the time when rapper Big Lurch took a lot of the drug and killed and ate parts of his girlfriend/roommate. He stabbed her in the chest and tore open her chest with his teeth and hands. I’m not going to write the rest. Suffice to know he’s serving a life sentence in prison now.
