I know! This sounds like a crazy trend, but it’s actually a really easy one to wear. I think ‘winter sheers’ is the fashion world’s solution to the crazy weather patterns we are experiencing worldwide. It’s a great way of dressing for the inter-seasonal months.

1. Sheers don’t just have to be transparent.
The trend is about wearing lightweight fabrics that flow. This can be in the form of your favourite summer dress or a chiffon dress with a nude slip underneath it. If you love transparent, wear it strategically and sparingly. Try a lace top with a cami underneath it or a long chiffon skirt with a shorter lightweight skirt underneath it to show off some leg.
2. Layer it.
Sheers are being worn with heavier weight fabrics for warmth. Remember Lili’s style makeover last year? This is a great example of how to layer your favourite summer dress to work for the cooler months too. For additional warm, add a coat or leather jacket. You can really play with this one. It makes your wardrobe favourites more wearable no matter what the season.
